1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the operator of Imperium Sanctus. You can get in touch via the alliance Discord.
2. General
Protecting your personal data is important to us. We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Below we explain which data we collect and how we use it.
3. Accessing the website / server logs
When you access the website, technical access data is automatically stored in server log files by the hosting provider (including IP address, date and time of access, the page requested, and the browser/operating system used). This processing serves to ensure smooth and secure operation and is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a short period.
4. Cookies
We only use technically necessary cookies. After you log in, a session cookie keeps you signed in for the duration of your session. Without this cookie the protected members' area cannot be used. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
5. Login via Discord (OAuth)
Signing in to the members' area is handled through Discord (Discord OAuth2). When you log in, we receive the following data from Discord:
- your Discord user ID and your username / display name,
- your avatar image (if available),
- your membership and roles on the associated Discord server.
We use this data solely for authentication, to assign your permissions (clan rank), and to provide the clan features. The legal basis is the performance of the usage relationship (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest in secure access (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Discord is provided by Discord Inc., 444 De Haro Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you log in, data is transferred to Discord; Discord also processes data in the USA. For more information, see the Discord Privacy Policy.
6. Content you enter
In the members' area you can enter content yourself (e.g. character details, clan roster, news, warehouse entries, absences). We store this data in order to provide the respective feature for you and your clan (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). It is only visible to authorised clan members.
7. Retention period
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above. If you leave the Discord server or lose your required role, your access is deactivated automatically. On request, we will delete your account and the associated data.
8. Disclosure to third parties
Your data is only passed on to third parties where necessary for operation (hosting provider, Discord as part of the login) or where we are legally obliged to do so. Data is never sold.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15),
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16),
- erasure (Art. 17) and restriction of processing (Art. 18),
- data portability (Art. 20),
- objection to processing (Art. 21),
- lodging a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77).
To exercise your rights, an informal message to the operator via the alliance Discord is sufficient.
